Mr. Torimitsu has been teaching at high schools, major prep schools, and universities for about 30 years, and has pioneered the field of Japanese language education.
In 2005, he started BLK Okinawa by creating a system that allows students in Okinawa to attend lectures given by instructors from major prep schools through interactive communication.
It was a precursor to today’s zoom 15 years ago, but at the time, not many people were aware of its merits.
